Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Heymi mobile application ("App"), operated by Rivue ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

To use Heymi, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid phone number capable of receiving SMS or voice calls
• Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
• Not have been previously banned or removed from the App by us

By creating an account, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to verify your age and identity at any time.

2. Account Registration

You register for Heymi using your phone number. We send an OTP (one-time password) to verify your number. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use
• Providing accurate and truthful information in your profile

You may only create one account per phone number. Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban or restriction is strictly prohibited.

3. App Features and Modes

3.1 Dating Mode

The dating feature allows you to create a dating profile, browse other users' profiles, send likes, receive likes, and chat with mutual matches. By using dating mode you agree that:

• All photos you upload are of yourself and are accurate representations
• You will not upload photos of minors or explicit/inappropriate content
• You will not use dating mode for commercial solicitation, spam, or prostitution
• Matches may unmatch you at any time, ending the chat

3.2 Networking Mode

The networking feature allows you to create a professional profile, send and receive connection requests, upload a CV (PDF), and chat with connections. By using networking mode you agree that:

• All professional information you provide is accurate and truthful
• You will not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity
• CVs and documents must not contain malicious code or illegal content
• You will not use networking mode for multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or spam

3.3 Messaging

Heymi provides real-time chat between matched users (dating) and connected users (networking). Messages are stored for a maximum of 24 hours before automatic deletion. You acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for the content of your messages
• We may review messages in response to valid reports or legal requests
• Sending unsolicited explicit content, threats, or harassment is prohibited

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
• Upload photos of anyone other than yourself as a profile photo
• Solicit money, financial information, or gifts from other users
• Transmit spam, chain letters, or unsolicited bulk messages
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the App or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to interact with the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Create an account if you have previously been banned by us

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the App ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

You represent and warrant that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights and complies with these Terms.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, without notice.

6. Reporting and Safety

We provide in-app reporting tools to flag users who violate these Terms. We review reports and may take actions including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent banning of accounts.

You can block any user to prevent further contact. Blocked users cannot see your profile or send you messages.

We do not conduct criminal background checks on users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your dating profile, networking profile, or entire account at any time from within the App settings. Upon account deletion:

• Your profile is immediately removed from all feeds
• All your matches, connections, messages, and uploaded files are permanently deleted
• This action is irreversible

We may also terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Rivue and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

"Heymi" is a trademark of Rivue. All rights reserved.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any user profile.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rivue and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kosovo, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kosovo.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
